Note: There are MANY coffee locations in downtown Seattle! - these are our picks ...for today.

Starbucks.

www.Starbucks.com
4000 E. Madison Street Seattle, WA 98112
Yep, this Starbucks is in the owner's hood.. so it better be good! (of course it is!) Well, one can find all the usual Starbucks offerings here including a wine bar. Big windows open up to the street and it has OUTDOOR SEATING! Plus, the place let's it go real nice by supporting the local arts (and community) by hosting art openings and even live music every now and then. Cool and bravo!

The Attic.
206-323-3131
4226 E Madison St. Seattle.
Yea, an 'Ale House and Eatery', but you still can get a decent cup of coffee here.. and a dang-good breakfast. This place is my hangout when in Madison Park and as a coffee house goes ..this it isn't. It's a sports bar. There really isn't a mom-and-pop coffee house in Madison Park. But late nights feel like home in this cozy tavern within the heart of upscale-burb Madison Park. Also, bar faire and sandwiches are simply rock solid here.

El Portal Coffee Roasters.

Kinda new? Old? not sure.. I was able to offer more detail. Found El Portal off a search. Well, believe it or not, E Madison area is fairly barren of coffee houses... so any suggestions? I could use them !
